Founded in 1976, the Miami County Gem & Mineral is a nonprofit club of amateur (and some professional) geologists and mineralists. Our members have a broad interest in the earth science, including mineral collection and identification, geology, lapidary arts, silversmithing, metal working, jewelry making, etc. Our club is affiliated with both the Midwest and the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies. We are an organized 501(c)3 nonprofit.
Annual Membership cost hasn't changed since 1976!
$10 for individual (18+)

Monthly meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 7PM, at 1770 N. County Road 25A, Troy, Ohio 45373. Each meeting offers an earth-science related program or activity for members. Fellowship and refreshments are always included. Guests are welcome. We have a speaker/presenter and topic or fun activity planned for each meeting.
