Monthly Meetings

Our next monthly meeting is November 14th, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. This month's meeting will be our November Novelty night.  NOVELTY NIGHT (To be held at the Troy View Church, 1770 County Road 25A, past the Fairgrounds on the left. ( Be thinking of what rock related items you might want to bring to sell, plus there will be much to buy!!!!   It is a perfect place to get a jump on your Christmas shopping!!!! There will be jewelry, rocks, minerals, and other goodies. Meeting will start at 7:00. Come out and have a great time!!!!  


DECEMBER– CHRISTMAS POT LUCK AND PARTY. The December meeting on Wed. Dec. 12th, will be a carry-in and rock or rock related gift exchange. Single persons are asked to bring a covered dish or dessert, and each couple or family should bring a hot and cold dish. There will be a gift exchange so each member is asked to bring a rock related item worth about $ 15.00. Each person should bring their own plates, cups, and silverware. There will be fun games. The meeting will start at 6:30 instead of 7:00 due to the potluck. Guests are welcome!! 



We meet the second Wednesday of every month at Troy View Church of God at 1770 North County Road 25A, Troy,  Ohio 45373.  Refreshments will be provided & guests are always welcome.

Other Meetings: Rock Cutting and Polishing Lessons: If you are a member and you would like to learn how to cut and polish gemstones, contact John Hickman to see when he plans on teaching the next set of lessons. Materials will be furnished and you will be using the new lapidary lab. The fee is nominal and once you learn then you can use the rock cutting lab when it will be open.
